After consultation and having major spinal surgery with Mr Spinks, i am able to move on with my life and get back to doing normal day to day activities and work. Before i had seen him i thought none of this would be possible again. Everything from consultancy to after care from the operation was done with expertise, sympathy, and confidence, and encouragement. Thank you so much for everything you have done on my behalf. Brian

After 3 years of waiting because my original surgeon retired and Covid 19 Mr George Spink did my spinal operation with a great outcome in January 2022 since the op my ability to get back to normal is getting there. Now almost pain free and improving all the time. Brilliant work would give George 5 stars every time.

I had a lumbar laminectomy in January 2022 which was performed by Mr Spink. The full details and I have to say the risks were clearly explained to me by Mr Spink and I admit to being apprehensive about the operation. However my limited mobility and associated pain meant that I had to go ahead. I was restricted to probably walking 100 yards at a time before the numbness and pain in my legs made me stop and rest before walking further. Mr Spink came to see me before and after the operation and explained concisely the procedure to be undertaken. His post op comments were "Some of your nerves were severely squashed but they are not anymore" I am not sure whether his smile was greater than mine !! The post operation symptoms were exactly as advised and although I have some nerve pain in my legs after 4/5 weeks I am able to walk about a mile. Mr Spink has seen me after 9 weeks and has carried out a full examination and is pleased with my progress. I still have a little way to go for full recovery but the improvement in my mobility is so good and I feel much better within myself. I am so grateful to Mr Spink for the care offered, his continuing explanation of what is to me a very complex matter and of course the procedure undertaken. I cannot find the words to fully express my thanks to him. He is a very professional, caring and gifted surgeon. Equally the care offered by the nursing staff and other medical staff was excellent and cannot praise them enough.

I must thank Mr Spink for his care and understanding of my condition. He was exactly as I had imagined he would be, as he had operated on my lumbar spine about twelve years ago. the results were superb and I was left pain free. My new problem was thoracic pain which has been extremely debilitating. it took a long time to get an appointment with him due to Covid 19. When I eventually saw him, he actually remembered me and my previous operation that he had performed, which gave me confidence. He talked me through everything and explained what would happen. Everything turned out perfectly. Within a week I was, and still am completely pain free. I have just had a follow up appointment with him and he looked as pleased as I am. He said to get in touch with him straight away if I have any more pain and he would see me. Once again, thank you Mr Spink, NO PAIN!!

I have a microdiscectomy. I have had this problem for many many years and thanks to Dr Spinks I am completely pain free. Found the whole procedure brilliant. I was totally informed the whole way along and felt I had the support I needed, beforehand, during and since the procedure. Would highly recommend Dr Spinks.
