My father was found to have a lesion in the brain on a MRI scan . The finding was a complete shock to us all . Mr Pereira took the time to discuss the findings with us and explain how best to manage it. He reassured me that my father would be seen as soon as possible . He explained what the surgery would entail in a way that my family would understand, explaining what sort of scar to expect and possible complications. This made us feel confident in Mr Pereira's skills as a surgeon. We knew our father was in good hands. After the surgery my father looked as if he's had couple of hours sleep and was chatting away with us , not that he'd had brain surgery ! Despite Mr Pereira's busy schedule, he had taken the time to communicate with us how the surgery had gone and what to expect when my father got home. Mr Pereira is not only a caring doctor but also an exceptionally skilled surgeon . We wish you all the best in your career !

Mr Erlick Pereira is an extremely gifted, capable neurosurgeon who confidently works as part of a team and individually to deliver excellent patient care. In addition to his outstanding surgical skills, effective judgement and decision making, he communicated complex medical information, answering questions in a professional and clear manner, whilst building up an excellent rapport and mutual trust with my family and myself. His reassuring words and presence meant a lot; he always made the time and effort to ensure I received the highest possible standard of care. Continue your great work improving the lives of patients, and once again a big thank you for everything you contributed throughout my inpatient stay.

Dr Pereira is one of the doctors who is caring for my mother who has some lesions on her brain. I was very impressed with the attention that he gave to explaining to me, my brother and my mother about the procedure that she was given and what the next steps were for prognosis and treatment. He was very quick in coming along to explain when we requested to speak to someone and we didn't feel intimidated by him or his colleague at all or that we were a nuisance. He was friendly, introduced himself and very professional and he explained everything in layman's terms. I feel confident that my mother is in exceptional hands and trust his judgement.
