Reviews
I was pleased to be seen just before my appointment time, and although quite brief, the consultation covered all the main queries on my mind. Mr Telgenkamp listened sympathetically and gave me the advice I needed at that point. A forward medication plan was advised which was later confirmed in a letter to myself and my GP and ongoing surveillance of my condition is being put in place. I felt confidence in Mr Telgenkamp and that he will address my future needs with skill and consideration.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your kind review. The Vascular Team strives to provide excellent care for all our patients and we will continue to provide this care for you.

Mr Telgenkamp
i am sorry i did not attend on the 19/9/19. This was because i had another appointment come through the post which was an earlier date and in Eastbourne hospital. I told my doctor on a visit i had for a infection and she told me to ignore the Conquest appointment and go to Eastboure.
Again i am sorry but am now confused what is going on.

At my follow-up ultrasound scan today a young student was present, with my consent. As a result I was given insights into the scanning process and procedures, something of which I had not been previously aware. Although these insights were given "accidentally", because of the presence of the student, I found them to be both interesting and reassuring. Perhaps such insights for the patient could be built into future scans?
Thank you very much for your kind review. We always try to inform our patients as best as possible. I’m glad the new Vascular Assessment Unit has been able to further improve your insights. We will continue trying to achieve this for all our patients.
I was very impressed by the high level of professionalism shown on this occasion.
Many thanks.

Mr Bjorn Telgenkamp clearly explained my condition and what options were open to me so I understood and could make an appropriate decision. There was no rush and he gave me the time needed.
