Have been visiting Dr Kelly for a few years for check-ups on a thyroid problem and his attitude and understanding have always been of a excellent nature. It should perhaps be expected of your consultant to be of this nature but in the current climate and given that he is clearly overworked and overbooked it comes as a nice surprise to find these qualities.
Thank you very much for your feedback, you are very kind to have taken the trouble. Do let me know if I can ever be of help in future.
I have been seeing Dr Philip Kelly since March 2012 when he first saw me to explain that a CT scan had shown that I had a Pituitary tumour. I spent most of the day at the hospital where various tests were carried out and throughout he explained everything thoroughly, listened to my worries and went through everything that was going to happen. He referred me to Barts and the Neurological Hospital in Queens Square and I had my operation at the beginning of May 2012. I had a number of complications after surgery and have been in hospital three times since. Dr Kelly has always been accessible when I have been worried about symptoms and has been available to talk to and to give advice. This has made everything so much easier to cope with and I am sure has contributed to my recovery. I have also been seen by Dr Kelly at the Endocrinology clinic at Southend Hospital on a regular basis and this has been invaluable to me to monitor my recovery, make adjustments to medication etc. I feel I have been so fortunate to have Dr Philip Kelly as my doctor as I cannot fault any of the treatment I have received under his care.
Thank you very much for your feedback, you are very kind to have taken the trouble. I hope you will contact me if I can ever be of help in future.
