I saw Dr. Montgomery on a friends recommendation and I can firmly say that I've never had a doctor that listens so intently, and makes me feel so heard. Can't recommend enough!

Dr Montgomery was very easy to talk to and very thorough in my assessment. I didn't feel like I was being criticized, which my initial worry about seeing a specialist. After going over all of my past and present symptoms, he made me feel reassured that this wasn't just 'me' and that there was help out there for me. I have been on medication for just 3 days and I'm already feeling like 'me' again. Thank you so much Dr Montgomery

I'm very grateful for the opportunity to meet with Dr Montgomery. I was seen promptly and the report was sent promptly, with accuracy. His manner was gentle. It was a shame that he doesn't take NHS patients anymore, as the cost is too prohibitive for me. He's a really good Psychiatrist though and seems to genuinely care.

Dr Andy Montgomery (MbBChir, PhD, MRCP, MRCPsych) qualified as a doctor in 1992 from Cambridge University and The Royal London medical school. He initially worked in general medicine obtaining his membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1995.
He has worked as a psychiatrist since 1996, and obtained a doctorate in neuroscience at Imperial College London for work using brain imaging to measure changes in neurotransmitter levels in psychiatric disorders.
He worked in Plymouth as a consultant in General Adult Psychiatry from 2005-2012. His special interests are the pharmacological management of mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and schizophrenia.
