I really felt that Dr Montgomery understood my situation and although there was an interruption with the call, the service was convenient and the doctor was terrific.

Dr Montgomery had an emphatic approach, clearly had great expertise in mood disorders and appropriate pharmaceuticals. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to research potential treatment strategies whilst having arranged a follow up appointment. I am delighted with the outcome of the consultation.

I recently had an adult ADHD assessment with Dr Montgomery. I was sent questionnaires to fill in the week prior, followed by an hour-long consultation via video link on the Psychiatry-UK app. Dr Montgomery's gentle manner put me at ease (I was very nervous), and he listened intently to everything I had to say. I really felt understood and didn't feel rushed or interrupted. We managed to cover everything within the hour (despite having a long and complicated history), and I advise anyone going through this assessment to be as thorough as possible when filling in the questionnaire, as it makes the process go smoother. Following the consultation, we discussed treatment options and I was promptly sent a prescription in the mail which arrived the following day. I was emailed a copy of the GP report the day after and everything on it was absolutely spot on. I can confidently recommend Dr Montgomery to anyone seeking an adult ADHD assessment. He was kind, thorough, reassuring, and the Psychiatry-UK system was very efficient. I look forward to completing the medication titration process under his supervision, and feel very hopeful for the first time in over a decade.

I booked an appointment with Psychiatry-Uk following recommendations I found online. My daughter had been referred for ADHD assessment through school and throughout my own research, I realised it was describing me - as a child and into adulthood. My GP referred me for NHS assessment, however the waiting times were expected to be very long, as someone with suspected ADHD, it is extremely difficult to wait possibly 12+ months for assessment, when you have struggled your entire life. I chose to see Dr Montgomery, following reading reviews on this site and seeing that he had he had a special interest in Adult ADHD. I found Dr Montgomery to be to extremely understanding from the outset. It was clear that he was very experienced in assessing adults with ADHD and for the first time in my life I felt understood. I was diagnosed with ADHD combined type. Dr Montgomery discussed treatment options and I received my prescription 2 days after my assessment online. I have been prescribed Elvanse, currently 3 days into the titration period and so far no negative effects. My only regret is that I wish I had had the confidence to book my assessment sooner. I would recommend Dr Montgomery to anyone who suspects they may have ADHD.

I have never met such an understanding and prompt Dr in my life. The day I met him, I knew I'd be listened to and helped as much as possible. I have been to many Drs and mental health teams in my life. Even as a child. I felt comfortable, listened to and most definitely understood. I was diagnosed within the hour because Dr Montgomery could understand and visualise how I am. As well as see how I am. I have friend who need help like myself and I am over 100% happy to help them in the right path to his aid. Thank you so much for helping me to turn my life around.
