The titration process was well managed, and my prescriber was extremely helpful with any concerns I had, and there was always a two way dialogue about my care. Any time I had concerns, these were discussed sensitively and I was given options on how to manage my care given my circumstances.

I asked my GP to refer me for an assessment of ADHD and I was contacted by Psychiatry UK to say I was on their waiting list. I was initially told I would need to wait 10 months before they would even be able to tell me when I might be offered an appointment but, much to my surprise, I was contacted 6 months later and given an appointment for two weeks time. I had to wait a further 6 months for titration but, once I reached the top of the waiting list, the process was handled really well. I would say that it would have been nice to receive updates on my progress through each waiting list but I understand that that may put more strain on the service. Overall, I'm very happy with the service I've had from PUK as an NHS patient.

I felt so lucky to have been looked after by Psychiatry UK, the only issue is waiting times but that is a wider issue and not really anything to do with them. I was treated with respect and so kindly throughout my treatment and no ask was too much. I'm really happy to have found my comfy dosage and would really encourage anyone questioning adhd to ask to be referred here!

The process took some time to begin due to the sheer demand of the service, but it has been incredibly helpful and at no point did any of the staff or units involved exert anything but utmost professionalism. Dr. Fisher was my first point of call, and W. Cholewinska worked with myself throughout the process of titration to which I feel I received considerable benefit applying to both my personal and work life. They were nothing but exceptional, and I really owe a debt of gratitude to both for helping assist in an issue that has plagued me for a decade.

During my assessments with Dr Sadiq, I always felt listened to, and I felt finally able to voice my concerns to someone that was going to take them seriously. My prescriber Lorraine was available every day to answer my endless queries with kindness and patience. However, at times, especially at the beginning of my journey, it felt as a very isolating experience. Despite reaching out to different groups, unfortunately I could not quite find a space to talk about my diagnosis and titration experience with someone else that was going through the same. So, if I could make a change, I probably look into some support groups led by professionals.

It's been an overall great experience, mostly due to the efficiency of my titration nurse Claire. I can't thank her enough. The process was over a fairly long period but each communication I had was done with respect and efficiency. I can't fault it.

I spent about 8-9 months in their care, going through my ADHD condition as well as the issues I was having and what treatment would be best for me. We went through multiple options and medications to ensure that it would help treat my condition with minimal side effects. Eventually ending up with medication that worked great for me. Both the doctor I had video calls with and the titration specialist were very helpful, understanding and patient as we went through treatments. I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience and I would gladly recommend for anyone, especially any RTC patients.
