When I first got referred to Psychiatry uk, I admit I was scared, worried I didn't have adhd, was just faking/hypochondriac/imagining it. I had a long, in depth discussion with the doctor at Psychiatry uk, he ran through the questions, but also spent the time to talk with me about how the interview made me feel, and to discuss my doubts. I have since moved onto titrating with the medication, slowly, ensuring that each step is safe and controlled. I went too high at one point, and was quickly helped to get back to a reasonable dose. Adhd medication can be life saving, it has given me the tools to actually exist in the world. The team seemed to exercise smart and intelligent judgement and didn't take anything lightly.

The staff at Psychiatry UK have been an absolute godsend. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about whether this would be the right path for me, as I was diagnosed with ADHD much later in life. However, the staff at Psychiatry UK have been simply amazing, and I would highly recommend their service to anyone struggling with ADHD. Throughout my treatment, I felt more like a friend than a patient. The communication with my prescriber was both helpful in terms of treatment progress and enjoyable on a personal level. This made the entire process feel natural and comfortable for me. Karen, my prescriber, is a wonderful person, and I will certainly miss our conversations. However, she delivered a 10-star service by keeping me updated and reassured me whenever I had questions or doubts. Overall, I cannot recommend Psychiatry UK enough. If you are struggling with ADHD, I encourage you to give them a try. Their staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

Since being diagnosed and started medication things has changed a lot for me. And thanks to Lorraine she has helped me and eventually found the right medication that worked well for me, I have since met new people who have recently been diagnosed with adhd and I have recommended this service. My experience with with psychiatry uk has been professional yet caring at all stages.dr Joshua who diagnosed me showed care all the way through my initial appointment and my titration nurse Colleen humes has been patient and helpful all of the way through.everything has run smoothly and I’ve never had to wait long at all for responses from anyone.I would highly ( and I have so far to 2 friends ) psychiatry uk to anyone needed their help.

After getting through the initial waiting list, I couldn’t have asked for better treatment right through the entire titration period. Right from the first consultation it was clear they were really listening and trying their best to help me in any way possible. Sally Newport especially was incredible, fast and insightful with every response and made the whole experience so much easier and stress-free. Every time I had any questions or issues they were dealt with quickly and effectively, and she really cared about making sure I was doing as well as possible while minimising any side effects. Thanks to her I am now on a medication at a dosage that is really working for me, and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off me; I didn’t realise how much I’d been affected by my ADHD, but now I’m so much better and more myself than I’ve ever been. Can’t express how grateful I am to Sally and Psychiatry UK, thank you!

I can not express how grateful I am for my referral to Psychiatry-UK. The waiting queue was long, and it took me almost one year from the referral to the end of tritation, but I couldn't be happier with the professionals and care I received. The tritation was well manage and responsive through all steps. All my questions were answered in a timely manner, I felt like the people in charge really understood the struggle of dealing with ADHD.
