I had a virtual assessment for adult ADHD. The psychiatrist was very professional and experienced, he didn't make the assessment actually feel like one, he made it feel more like a conversation with a friend. He didn't rush me when I was explaining things, and always asked if I had any questions. After the diagnosis, he recommended medication, but asked if I wanted to read up on the medicine first. I went for the titration service after that, the whole process worked like clockwork. I've been seeing mental health professionals since teenage, and came across many psychiatrists on the NHS, but many seemed tired, and unwilling to go the extra mile or actually give a conclusive result. I didn't find that to be the case here.
Brilliant experience, psychiatrist and titration nurse were amazing and was very impressed with the service I received.
Their website that's used for going on appointments, booking appointments etc is very well designed (coming from a ex-web developer), easy to use and makes the whole experience very good.
I could not have been happy with the service I received from everyone connected with Psychiatry UK.
I have already, and will continue to do so in the future, recommended Psychiatry UK to others.
Psychiatry-UK is a really fantastic platform. I researched private ADHD assessment options at length and chose a doctor working through PUK, partly because of price and partly because of the excellent reviews they have. This was my first private healthcare appointment, as NHS care was lacking in my area for Adult ADHD. I was able to see reviews of individual doctors before deciding, book an appointment online, test equipment before the meeting and leave feedback at every turn. All information and forms were supplied and I could upload reports online and ask my titration nurse questions any time. I would heartily recommend Psychiatry-UK to anyone considering private care for the first time.
So easy and proffessional. I was able to get seen and diagnosed by Dr Richard Mellor with no waiting list (NHS estimated 6 months) which helped my condition hugely, I felt like I was being restricted by not talking to a proffessional so I was able to have peace of mind and move onto treatment after knowing I had this a long time. I would recommend to any friends looking for a diagnosis with a friendly, helpful and professional company. 10/10.
Good, swift complete care. 100% recommended!
Friendly, approachable manner. Easy to follow instructions / request. Prompt responses to queries.
This has been such an easy service to navigate, and so very quick. Nothing like what is available elsewhere.
All I can say is this is an amazing service. I have been overwhelmed for days with how they deal with patients, they genuinely care about you and your mental health.
They are unbelievably fast with communication, the online portal is so easy to use and they don’t leave you for longer than 1 day without a reply.
They will do anything they can to help you, regardless of your situation, I have been through multiple services as a child through to adulthood and this service is by far the most effective.
If you are thinking of referring yourself and think it will take months, - It took Dr. Mashru and his team less than three weeks (staying in contact almost everyday) to get me on a new path with my ADHD I have suffered with for ten years.
Thank you to everyone at Psychiatry-UK for how you have all treated me during these hard times for everyone. I am so grateful as I have told the nurse on my case notes about a hundered times! I really am.
Fantastic, efficient and caring service provided. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs help.
Psychiatry-UK was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
