I was a private patient for the ADHD treatment service offered by Psychiatry-UK. The psychiatrist I saw was very helpful and polite, and answered any questions I had. The process was very speedy and simple, and was exactly what I expected for an ADHD diagnosis having read up beforehand on what usually happens. I was provided with a diagnosis letter, and then started on medication titration for ADHD. This was unfortunately complicated for myself due to a number of external influences, however importantly the clinic and my assigned nurse prescriber were extremely helpful and supportive, and guided me through the process excellently. I have ended up with a very positive treatment regimen for my ADHD which has helped my symptoms massively. This reflects very well on the service/clinic, since I did not respond satisfactorily to the two most common types of ADHD medication (lisdexamfetamine/methylphenidate) alone; as such I had to try other things and I was guided through this very well and remained supported excellently. To anyone who is looking at a diagnosis followed by/or trying medication for their ADHD, but are worried that things might not work out well if you don't respond well to the first-line treatments, I can definitely recommend Psychiatry-UK. I definitely felt as though I received premium and specialist care.

I was worried at first to book an appointment here with a psychiatrist I didn't know who to choose. so I just went per date and well that was great, the psychiatrist put me at ease straight away so I felt relax and happy to talk. The nurse who prescribes medication and who you deal with after your appointment with the psychiatrist was fab, reactive, speedy answers. Great support. Everything was online so I can't comment about the location being clean.

I've just been assessed by Dr Sushma Rao and am extremely happy with the way that my assessment was handled. She was kind, patient, courteous and informative, even though I overran the time because I couldn't stop talking. I feel as though I've been given a new set of tools which might help me moving forwards and for a change I feel 'seen' and heard by a professional and not just fobbed off with suggestions like 'take a bath/walk/break' or 'here have some more antidepressants.' If anyone's unsure, you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

At the ripe old age of 57 I have finally been diagnosed with ADHD my life finally makes sense. I have been in and out of mental health units most of my life and still never felt comfortable that this was the only element if my life suffered greatly. I waited from 2017 for an appointment with NHS then when finally had the first appointment they had no trace of me on the system! This whole thing took four weeks with Psychiatry online. One happy lady!

15/10 I cant recommend this place enough. Initially i was scared that i might be treated differently being an NHS patient but that was not the case. I had a Dr Mashru and he was probably one of the best Doctor's i have met in my life. The service is quick, professional and all members of the admin staff excell at their job. Every member of staff no matter what their role has your best interest at heart.

Amazing care. From referral queries through to managing treatment, super impressed with the entire team. Dr Grenville Major is absolutely fantastic; I received a very detailed report which was concisely informative - what an asset to the P-UK! Follow-up care is great too. Highly recommended, 100%.

I initially booked an appointment with a consultant who assessed me for ADHD, after my diagnosis He talked me through why he believed me to have this and it all started to come clear from life experiences like ...addictions,relationships,brain racing, study struggles...to name a few! I was given advise on ADHD through the portal and talked through ways of dealing with this and medication. I then had a letter sent to my G.P and was referred to a titration nurse with psychiatry Uk,where I began a course of medication, with the support of a nurse, having weekly meet ups, along with constant correspondence as I needed,I’m ready for my review appointment after finishing my trial period of medication that my GP with now be able to prescribe. I can honestly say the whole process has been really smooth and I honestly feel like a changed person,I’m progressing great in my nurse studies and feel like a new calmer person who can take on anything again! I wish I’d have done it years ago but glad I found psychiatry Uk now.

I had a great experience with psychiatry-uk, which is a breath of fresh air after being dismissed by mental health professionals in the past. I got diagnosed with ADHD and am now on the waiting list for titration for medication. My doctor was very kind and made me feel comfortable. My assessment was booked only a few days after my initial referral. Overall very speedy, simple and I would recommend to anyone who wants an ADHD diagnosis on the NHS without crazy long waiting times.

When yet another person said I showed many symptoms of ADHD back in July 2020, I decided to seek answers to the myriad questions which had been circling my brain since childhood. After doing my research, I decided to pay privately and book an ADHD assessment with Dr Jacek. The whole experience with Psychiatry UK was professional and Dr Jacek made me feel at ease from the moment I entered the online call. I was diagnosed with Combined ADHD, but Dr Jacek was clear to rule out other psychiatric conditions before he diagnosed me. I would have no hesitation recommending Psychiatry UK and they have finally helped me understand why I am the way I am.
