I was assessed by Dr Suchitra Sabarigirivasan, who was kind, understanding and respectful. I felt comfortable sharing personal details with her, and the questions she asked me felt clear and relevant. I feel relieved to have got a diagnosis of ADHD, as I feel like it has explained a lot of things that I have found difficult and hopefully will open up avenues for treatment. Although there was a bit of a wait, it was worth it to know, and I’m grateful that I could get this assessment and the possibility of medication free on the NHS.
