I was treated by Psychiatry-UK under the right to choose. The treatment I received was fantastic. The specialist I spoke to during my assessment was professional and understanding and the titration team were really accommodating when working out my medication needs.
I was diagnosed with ADHD and was given a lot of information to help me ease into my new reality. The information and help given has encouraged me to seek further investigation into potential autistic traits and assessment which I am also looking to use PUK for because of the great service they have provided.
The only criticism I have is the waiting period for assessment and treatment but that can't be attributed to PUK but the state of the health industry as a whole at the moment. PUK were very open and forthcoming about the waiting times and were often on target with the times they stated if not quicker.

You have mentioned our wait times and we know that some of our patients are having to wait longer than we would like, due to the popularity of our service. We are continuously looking to recruit new clinicians and we run regular audits to find new ways to streamline our services to be able to bring down our waiting times.
