I find it much easier to monitor how much has been taken than standard ventilin inhalers. There is a counter to show 120 measured doses.

I have had asthma since I was 1 year old. I am now 71 years old. I have been on medication since I was a child. firstly with a pseudoepherdrine/chloroform mixture, then in my late teens salbutamol. Both these were for acute attacks. In my twenties I was put on Intal and remained on that until in my sixties I developed COPD. I was then put on Symbicort. This has been a revelation, it have kept me active. I play golf twice weekly, I go to the gym three times a week for an hour at a time, I am working in my garden usually two or three times a week (even in Winter) and best of all I have enough puff to play games with my grandchildren. There is no way that I would be capable of doing all that with Symbicort.
