I was diagnosed with PMP in November of last year. My initial consultation with Mr Aziz was obviously quite a stressful encounter but Mr Aziz and his team reassured me that I was in the best place possible for my condition. Mr Aziz was up front about the risks of the surgery I was to undergo and the possible scenarios that could arise. He had a plan for each scenario and his recommendation for the best option for a full recovery. Mr Aziz and his team surpassed all of my expectations and I am now recovering from a very successful surgery and to complete a hernia repair caused by the PMP. Mr Aziz took time out of his schedule to see me after my surgery to make sure my recovery was going to plan and his team have been monitoring my recovery since returning home. I will be grateful for his and his team's work for the rest of my life.

When I was first diagnosed with PMP I was very scared and confused as to what this condition was. After speaking to Mr Aziz he immediately made me feel hopeful and more informed as to what my treatment would be. I travelled from Scotland to have my operation which in itself especially during COVID was stressful as I was far from home. Mr Aziz and the staff at the Christie made me feel reassured and comfortable. My operation was very successful due to the expertise of Mr Aziz. When he called with the results of the pathology report he explained it clearly and fully but he also took the time to ask how I was feeling and coping after the operation. I’m very glad to say that I do not need any further treatment and I am recovering very well. There are no words to explain how grateful I am that I was under his care. Forever thankful.

Following my diagnosis of Colorectal cancer, and subsequent chemotherapy, my Oncologist Dr. Muhammed H Khan referred me to Mr. Omer Aziz at The Christie Hospital in Manchester. Mr. Aziz instilled me with great confidence in the decisions that were taken for my subsequent operation. Following ten months chemotherapy under the supervision of Dr. Khan my situation did not look too promising. However, following further consultations and scans by Mr. Aziz he offered me surgery to remove my tumours and instilled me with confidence that this could be successfully achieved. The operation was duly carried out with total success. Mr. Aziz always gave plenty of time to discuss any concerns and is very reassuring. Words cannot express the gratitude of my Wife and myself for his attention and care. I would recommend Mr. Aziz in the strongest possible terms and very much appreciate all he has done for me.

I have recently had HIPEC and Cyto reductive surgery with Mr Aziz at The Christie. I am delighted with the surgery and was in fantastic care every step of the way. Mr Aziz has a brilliant way of explaining things and was very attentive when I was in hospital. He always gives us lots of time to talk through any concerns and is very reassuring and pragmatic. I asked to be referred to Mr Aziz specifically having heard great reports from others and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for his help again in future. Anyone who is able to access his work is very fortunate. Thank you.

I am an English patient but live in Vienna and approached Mr Aziz for an independent opinion about the treatment I was receiving for my colorectal cancer, especially the need for surgery to remove the sigmoid colon after chemotherapy. His advice was clear and instilled great confidence in the decisions that were taken subsequently. I would recommend Omer Aziz in the strongest possible terms and very much appreciate the recommendation that he provided for a surgeon to complete the necessary surgery in Vienna. Fingers crossed but the outcome looks extremely positive.
