Mr Aziz was brilliant with me . Very caring and considerate and always listened and he never seemed to rush his answers and made sure I fully understood the question. I was told at Wigan hospital that my colostomy bag was probably permanent so I was glad I was referred to Christie’s Manchester under the care of Mr Aziz He felt confident I would have a bag reversal which was brilliant and that the treatment was a great success. He performed my two operations which were both successful. Top bloke and surgeon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I must also thank his secretary Angela White who was also very helpful. Two very genuine people . Many thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m sure I couldn’t have had a better Surgeon than Mr Aziz. He’s very considerate and caring and genuinely comes across as someone who really cares and wants to do his best . I was told at Wigan hospital that my colostomy bag would probably be permanent so I was so glad I was referred to Christie’s, Manchester to be treated by Mr Aziz who told me there was a good chance of a reversal and the two operations he performed on me were a great success. Top bloke and surgeon and anyone under his care are very fortunate ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first consultation was via video call, Mr Aziz immediately put me at ease. He explained everything in simple terms of what treatment he thought I needed to have. He listened to my questions and concerns and answered everything very clearly. He explained what my operation would entail, how long it would take, any complications that may arise and how long my stay in hospital was likely to be. Mr Aziz called me a week or so later to check how I was and asked if I had any further questions. My operation date was set. I saw Mr Aziz for the first time face to face on the morning of my operation, he was very reassuring. He called my partner in the early evening when my operation was complete and explained everything to him. I saw him the following morning on CCU where he explained that everything had gone well. I had a further 3 visits from Mr Aziz whilst on Ward 10. I had follow up consultation via telephone where he again explained how the operation had gone and told me what would happen next. I have received my follow up appointment date for November.

Following an initially successful course of Radiotherapy my Rectal Cancer had returned and due to pressures on my local hospital I was transferred to be under the care of Mr Aziz and his team at The Christie. From my initial appointment to the post operative care the level of service was exemplary. Mr Aziz took time to go through my cancer journey, physically examine me himself and thoroughly explain the procedure and possible side effects. He put me at ease that it was the right option for me and left me clear on what to expect. The surgery went as well as could be expected and Mr Aziz's work was so competent that I required no pain killers post Op! I have made a full recovery from the surgery and have been able to return to a normal life within a few weeks. Mr Aziz even took the time to come onto the ward on a Saturday (surgery was on Friday) to check how I was. I am very grateful to Mr Aziz and the team at The Christie for all the care they provided

I had total trust in Mr Aziz. He explained everything ver clearly to me,including the risks, of my surgery. He was very caring and very professional. He removed a section of my bowel and rejoined it meaning I didn’t havetohavea stoma (which was my greatest concern) after I had previously been told it could not be done. He is amazing and I am forever grateful to him
