It wasn't only Mr. Aziz and Tobias who gave me confidence while I was in Christies for surgery for Bowel Cancer it was his whole team. The nursing staff were very friendly. We quickly got to know one another and they called me "by my name". And I also got to know their names. They seemed to anticipate my needs and nothing was too much trouble for them. As a patient we have to realise we are not the only ones there. There are others that need the help also. So we might have to wait a bit for attention. I would like to mention Rachael. She was Mr. Aziz's nurse. She was amazing. She came to see me often. Listened as I shared how I felt and any hurts I had and got me the help I needed. She even called when I came home to see how I was getting on and told me I could phone her if I had any worries.

I was a patient of Dr Aziz, at The Christie’s Hospital. I feel that I was looked after amazingly, by Dr Arziz and his team. I was fully aware of the procedures of my operation. I appreciated his straight talking and how he explained everything for me to understand. I was in hospital for ten days after my operation and was seen by Dr Aziz and his team everyday not only for my recovery but my wellbeing as well, this made me feel that I was being cared for more than I ever have before whilst in hospital and I will always be truly grateful for the care and professionalism I received .

Could not have had a better doctor . Doctor Aziz has a great empathy with people and putting me at ease as soon as i met him. He discussed everything about my operation at length with us and didn't rush our consultation at all. me and my partner both felt very reassured and confident after out meeting. The great care I had by him and his team was a hundred ten percent and still is. All the staff at Christie's hospital have been brilliant and still are and so friendly and put you at ease paul stoke-on-trent

I would like to start by saying that my whole experience and treatment at the Christie was totally second to none, from my first consultation to the surgery procedure, and then my road to recovery was absolutely fantastic from Mr O, Aziz and the whole of the team, When people have said to me that the Christie is the best hospital in the u/k they are not wrong I also fully agree ,this can only be a great credit to Mr O Aziz, Mr Tobias and every single member of the team, I cannot thank them all enough for the treatment and care they all gave to me. THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH Robert Sherratt.

I feel fortunate to have had Mr Aziz as my surgeon. From first meeting him he made me feel at ease, he was very approachable, caring and had a lovely bedside manner. Before and after surgery Mr Aziz met with myself and my family to explain what the surgery entailed, which made me feel very confident that i could not be in better hands. At such worrying times it is re-assuring to know that i was receiving the very best care by Mr Aziz being my surgeon.
