Reviews
Since my last review in March I have seen Mr Harb on 3 different occasions.
Firstly we discussed my ankle MRI results and the proposed treatment. Mr Harb was his usual empathic self. He fully appreciates the importance of mobility to his patients.
The next occasion was on the day of my surgery at Ashford hospital. Again he was very kind, informative and thorough. I felt very comfortable about my surgery.
I also saw him this week at Ashford hospital again as part of my post operative care. Again Mr Harb took the time to talk to me and I felt as though my recovery and future action plan mattered to him.
I cannot praise him enough! Anyone with orthopaedic issues would be very lucky to get Mr Harb to look after them.
Mr Harb came to my rescue at the fracture clinic after suffering a bimalleolar fracture of the ankle. I am so grateful to have met him on that first visit. First and foremost he listened to me. As someone with additional bone and joint complications he was prepared to proceed with an operation that was going to give me the best possible outcome for the future mobility of my ankle. This was not the option some surgeons I saw would undertake. He completed the surgery skilfully. Then Covid hit and NHS care was halted and I continued to see Mr Harb privately.
Mr Harb gave me confidence about the progress of my injury and recommended an onward programme of rehabilitation. He has since removed the pins and plates and my ankle mobility is coming on a treat. At every point Mr Harb was easy to talk to, very professional, forward thinking and I felt invested in doing the very best for me.
Dr. Harb saw me for an ankle injury which needed plates and screw. He was very patient, and empathetic. A nasty fracture was operated in a seemless way with minimum pain and great care.
I would definitely recommend him as the best orthopaedic surgeon!
I saw Mr Harb yesterday to receive test results. This appointment had been delayed several months due to Covid.
Despite both of us wearing masks we had no problems communicating with each other.
He explained the test results clearly and we discussed the options. We agreed a way ahead and I felt listened to in that discussion.
Mr Harb is a lovely man who shows great empathy and compassion. He clearly cares about people.
Mr Harb took a lot of care and time to explain what was going to be involved in my operation ( ankle ligament reconstruction ).
After the first consultlation, he gave me plenty of time to think about what he had told me about the operation so that I could make an informed choice, whether to have the operation or not.
On the day of the opetration, he took time out to come to speak to me. During the lockdown he personally phoned me to advise me regarding the next stage of my recovery.
I am extremely happy that I made the right choice in having the operation.
From my experience, I think he has been extremely professional and caring.
