Mr Zameer Shah performed my total hip replacement operation in June 2016. Right from the first time I met him I was very impressed with his pleasant, friendly and professional manner. He explained everything to me in simple language I could understand answering any of my questions very clearly making it easy for a lay man to follow. Following the operation he visited me in recovery and told me that everything had gone well during the operation which reassured me. My recovery has been very good and I feel very confident his skill as a surgeon has contributed to this. I would also like to say that the whole team at Guy’s Hospital, the surgical team, nursing staff, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists were all very, professional, competent and friendly. Mr Shah gave me the confidence to put all my trust in him which I am very grateful for. I would certainly highly recommend Mr Shah to anybody considering total hip replacement surgery. Dr Shah is a God sent Surgeon to N.H.S Services,he was very thorough with me and was able to diagnose what the problem with my knee was.He spoke at lenght to explain what was wrong with my knee and the kind of surgery he and his team will carry out on me.He did not leave out any details which i may later found out at the end of the surgery,he spoke with a genteel voice and explained every procedure in a lay man's term for me to understand which some of the G.P Surgery Doctors don't or won't have the time or day to explain to you. After my surgery,when i went back for the post operation feed back;he was able to crack a joke and again explained what procedure was undertaken during the surgery and what he expect me to do as part of my Physio programs before discharging me and his final word is "if there is ever any problem with the knee i am always welcome back".That was very nice and refreshing from a surgeon.

Dr Shah was extremely helpful in my case. When I first visited him around a problem with my knee he spent a good amount of time talking through and considering what the defect may be in the knee but also spent an impressive amount of time actually getting to know me as a patient, making me feel a lot more than just a reference number on an X-ray document. He took the time to explain all possible details around the defect in my knee as well as offering multiple options of recovery. Through effective language and taking the time to understand who I was he was able to make me feel perfectly comfortable with the defect in my knee and confident in the advised recovery option. It was a pleasure to have him see me through multiple appointments and scans to get to the actuality of what my problem was and allowed me to feel completely comfortable if I were to have to return in the future. Highly recommend him! Remarkable asset to the London Bridge Hospital team, am very happy that he was able to help me.

Little can express my gratitude to Dr. Shah. He is extremely considerate, understanding, accommodating, , overall, an extremely capable surgeon. I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Shah for his expert help in my treatment. I did not recover overnight, but I was amazed by how quickly I felt better and started pursuing favourite activities. Dr. Shah, thank you so much for all you have done for me.
