Dr Shah is a very caring doctor who looks and listens for patients needs, Ive had 5 operations by this doctor, and I felt very comfortable with the care I got at Guys hospital from Dr Shah and his team. Excellent doctor.

Mr. Zameer Shah from the outset was extremely approachable, friendly and reassuring. He did not rush me and was happy to answer my questions. The two nurses in attendance were also very helpful. I saw Mr Shah at Guys and not only did I feel I was in very expert hands I also felt (once you are in the system) Guys has an efficient system in place. Once it was decided that I needed knee replacement surgery I was placed on the waiting list and it was a matter of several months waiting. The operation went well, the nursing care in Sarah ward was superb the nurses were caring, compassionate as well as efficient. The sister said when recruiting she looks for those particular characteristics as well as excellent skill sets. I requested to see Mr. Shah for my follow-up as I wanted to find out more details of my op as well as to thank him. He was again so easy to talk to and gave me details of my op showing me the Xrays taken at the time. By the way I have an excellent scar! I feel very fortunate to have had such skilled treatment on NHS. The only downside was the fact that on the ward two patients were using mobile phones 24/7 with their loudspeakers on. That made recovery difficult. Maybe I had lost my appetite but I didn't find the food very appetising.

Mr Shah has performed a hip replacement and a total knee replacement on me so far. I am due to have another total knee replacement in a couple of months. The relief of not having the pain from the arthritis after a few months is huge. I know the rehabilitation from the operation takes time and is painful but it’s worth the effort. I cannot speak more highly of Mr Shah and his team

I had been waiting for nearly a year for a diagnosis of a knee injury & met Mr. Shah at a friend's lunch party. After a referal from my GP, where no other referal doctor had come back with an appointment Mr. Shah had me at his clinic at Guy's hospital in two weeks. Within 30 minutes I had had an x-ray, diagnosis & treatment & my knee is now 100% better. Mr. Shah is a wonderful doctor & I couldn't have asked for better treatment in every respect.
