Dr Santhanam was very polite and thoughtful. He explained everything to me in lay language so i understand what’s happening, even though this was my second visit, he didn’t expect me to remember everything. This time he had a medical student with him and he made sure I was very comfortable and it’s a pleasure watching him teach future doctors. I felt very safe and heard. I am very glad that he’s my doctor 🙏🏾

A lovely doctor who treats you (and any family) with care. Eye contact and a welcoming smile made all encounters with him leaving me calm and reassured. I was aware of all that was going to be done and anything that might occur after the procedure. He is brilliant!

I was treated courteously and kindly throughout. Explanations were clear and in plain language. I was given many opportunities to ask questions. My procedure was calm, efficient and reassuringly explained to me as it progressed. I did not have any moments of anxiety as I had complete confidence in my consultant and his work.

I have been under the care of Mr Santhanam at Addenbrooks Hospital for 16 months with an unusual jaw issue which has plagued me for 10/12 years and progressively getting worse. Mr Santhanam has been very thorough with his investigations into my problem and after gathering all the information from various tests etc., a way forward with treatment has now been started and is having a positive effect. Every step of the way has been discussed with me and any concerns I have raised were listened to in a caring, courteous manner which has given me the confidence that I am in good hands.

Dr Santhanam really understands my autoimmune diseases & how they affect my jaw. He was the only doctor who suggested treatments & techniques to manage my condition now & in the long term. I cannot thank him enough for reducing my pain levels significantly & helping me to get function back so I can enjoy my food!
