Vas was brilliant - I understood I was a 'routine' patient in the eyes of the NHS and that my condition was not life threatening albeit incredibly painful. He was attentive and listened to my concerns making me feel wholly at ease and in control of my treatment plan at all times. It was clear on the ward there were patients with a greater need than I for his time yet he still made time for me. I have had no issues post op and am living a happy healthy life. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I cannot fault the care I had from Mr. Arzoglou. I was diagnosed with a very rare condition and have been most impressed by the expertise shown by him and the other surgeon involved in my surgery. I was kept informed at all times on the progress that was being made both at Castle Hill hospital where the surgery was performed and then subsequent aftercare at Hull Royal infirmary.

I visited Mr Arzoglou at Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary following a serious cycling accident in which I sustained a number of fractures to my skull and a bleed on the brain. On every visit he patiently took the time to talk me through my injuries, my scan results and the anticipated long term prognosis. Thankfully I am making a good recovery and I am very grateful for his support and advice.

After many months of suffering severe pain and having seen many doctors and taken much medication I finally got to meet Mr Arzoglou and straight away after our first meeting I knew that this man could help me solve my ongoing problem. He obviously explained about the operation I would need but he also offered me the alternatives to the operation and also made sure I understood the risks of having the operation. I felt very confident with his description of the operation in great detail and he did offer me the choice of having one of his team carry out the operation but because of the confidence he showed, there was no other choice but to have him carry out the operation himself. If I ever have to have a similar operation then there would be no other choice for me but to have Mr Arzoglou carry out the operation. I can only thank him for his time that he spent with me and wish him all the best in his career. Many thanks from both my family and myself.
