Mr Cadoux Hudson diagnosed and operated on my son in December 1996 and did spinal surgery to remove an infected bone due to LCH and with out this prompt operation my son would have been paralysed. My son is still living life due to this and we are forever grateful for his expertise.

I have been under Mr Cadoux-Hudson’s care for several years since my benign brain tumour was diagnosed. He has resolved numerous related issues since and, like others, I have no doubt that my current well being is a large a result of his superb level of care and knowledge.

In October 2013 I was taken ill at my home in Kettering in Northamptonshire. I have little recollection of events other than having a severe headache for a couple of days. This became worse until barely conscious I was admitted to Kettering General Hospital on a Thursday evening with what was ultimately diagnosed as an Acute Ischaemic Subdural Haematoma . In hospital I became worse and the doctors suggested that the situation was sufficiently serious to call my children to my bedside. This was put in hand and my son began the journey home from Oman and daughter from Cornwall where she was on holiday. By then I was in an induced coma and the doctors in Kettering then decided that they couldn't help me and I was put in in an ambulance which rushed me to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford where I arrived at some time on the Friday. Admitted to the Neurosciences ward I was operated on at once by Mr Cadoux-Hudson and his team who successfully treated the condition. I awoke on the Saturday morning pain free and wondering what all the fuss was about. I was completely unaware that I had nearly lost my life and it was only down to Mt Cadoux-Hudson and his team that I was alive. My recovery was virtually instant and I was discharged from hospital two days later feeling completely well. Whilst I thanked Mt Cadoux-Hudson at the time I always felt that the words were totally inadequate and welcome this opportunity to express my gratitude to Mr Cadoux-Hudson and all who were involved with saving my life at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

I am totally indebted to Mr Thomas Cadoux-Hudson who carried out a 7.5hr back operation to remove a calcified disc (T9) in 2014. Previous to the operation I had spent 3 years on crutches and in severe pain. The surgery he carried out totally changed my life, it was a miracle because I woke up the next morning and wanted to get up and out of bed straight away because I could. I phoned to say I was coming home and they couldn’t believe it and it wasn’t until they came to the hospital to pick me up that they saw just how amazing the operation had been. Not only was it a humungus success, but Mr. Cadoux-Hudson had carried out lots of research before hand in order to save my sight as I have a genetic condition that robs us of our vision.
