Mr Stephen Bond

After many years of various doctors not taking my symptoms seriously, Mr Bond listened, was sympathetic and has given me answers. Both himself and the entire department have been fantastic every time I've been in.

Mr Bond was very east to speak to, keen to hear my concerns, very professional but above all on a level. He showed no signs of arrogance at all, which unfortunately some of the medical professionals can do.

Mr Bond was extremely helpful and friendly, a total credit to the NHS. Some GPs now days seem to just want to move people in and out as fast as possible but that was far from the experience with Mr Bond. More like him would be a very good thing for the NHS.

Very professional, soon put my mind at rest

My wife saw Mr Bond on Tuesday, November 19th. I attended with her. It was her 1st visit to see him. Mr Bond was extremely caring, sensitive and explained my wifes condition in understandable detail. Mr Bond,s personality and good humour made the whole appointment relaxing. Fortunately her ailment was not serious and Mr Bond,s obvious expertese made us leave full of good spirits. I thought Mr Bond was very professional yet understanding.

I have been under the care of Mr Bond since my cancer diagnosis in 2007. From my first meeting with Mr Bond he has provided every level of support, in both treating my physical symptoms brilliantly and just as important emotionally over the following years at the numerous follow up outpatients visits. I have complete trust in his skills and judgement. His patience, honesty and reassurance have meant everything to me and I believe I owe my recovery (both physically and mentally) to him and the wider team approach at the Radcliffe. In addition Mr Bond has been also supportive of my husband during this time, which was really important to me as cancer touches the family not just the individual. Having cancer is never going to be easy, but being in the care of Mr Bond has made the journey probably as good as it could have been. I sincerely hope that he continues in his field for many years to come.

Mr. Bond was very patient and did not rush my examination. I had time to explain (and remember) critical elements of my ongoing condition which left me feeling reassured that we had discussed everything in detail.
