I have been under Mr. Monkhouse’s care for a few months, with a referral for a Hiatus hernia that was causing me daily pain and distress. I am now one month post- surgery having had a ‘Toupet Fundoplication’ and am delighted at the results. So far I have had no reflux, I am healing really well, stopping my reflux medication, also down seven kilos in weight, and in general feeling good. The ‘Open door’ policy is fantastic, knowing I can contact him at any time with any query. From first appointment to post op care, I’ve been really pleased with the communication, flexibility (having to change operation date) bedside manner, surgery results and all in all highly recommend Mr. Simon Monkhouse as my doctor/surgeon.
