I had occasion to see Simon Monkhouse regarding treatment for an indirect inguinal hernia. This due to the size had to be treated by an open mesh repair procedure . I was as may be imagined quite nervous, however now four weeks later my anxiety and discomfort are a thing of the past. I must say Simon discussed and explained the procedure in detail prior to the operation and was available ( by way of his email address) at all times. In conclusion I am more than pleased the way the procedure went technically, and dealing with Simon on a personal level, I found easy and pleasant.
