Simon is a great pleasure to have as a surgeon, I was really worried about having a gastric bypass done, and I emailed him and text him all hours of the day and night and he would always put my mind at rest at whatever time - one was 2am on a Monday morning.... I wonder if he ever sleeps! I felt he is always there when you need that question answered. and within minutes! When I had my first official meeting with him to discuss the bypass I felt very confident and he explained the procedure to the full and with the detail you need. I feel I have a good link with him and seeing him every month at support group is excellent he is always there and asking how you are and I feel confident to ask any questions or concerns I have. He and the hospital staff looked after me 100% and have no regrets or complaints or anything they could improve on!
