I found Mr Lambert to be the most easy of Doctors to talk to, his approach is so kind and gentle, his bedside manner is the best I have ever experienced. He listens to the patient and only has the best interest of the patient in mind. He does not recommend surgery lightly, only if he really believes it's the best course of action. I would fully and wholeheartedly recommend Mr Lambert to everyone.

Excellent care. A sensitive, considerate and genuinely caring gentleman, not "full of himself," as so many surgeons can be, and not quick to recommend the slice and dice option. This is the second time I have seen Mr Lambert with family members, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I found Mr. Lambert genuinely concerned about my condition. He took the time to ask specific, relevant questions and listened and clarified my answers. He was precise in his explanation of my condition, offering simple explanations to a complex problem. He answered every question I had with clarity and empathy. I am very pleased and satisfied with the outcome so that I can now go forward with much more insight and understanding on what to expect. I cannot recommend anything that Mr. Lambert could improve upon. He exceeded my expectations.

Profile

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in the shoulder and elbow. I also hold an honorary academic appointment within University College London. Having worked at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), a specialist orthopaedic hospital, where I created a research-active, educationally-acclaimed, science-based service, integrated with and recognising the extreme importance of expert rehabilitation, I have now moved to University College London Hospital. We enjoy a national reputation for clinical excellence and clinical research, which I fully expect to contribute to over the next decade. We value our national and international collaborations, and expect to develop these further with the evolution of the service. As a component of this effort my work with the AO has offered opportunities to younger colleagues while bringing the values of the AO to a wide variety of surgeons and therapists. Truly international collaboration and exchange of ideas clearly enhances and promotes the efficacy of patient-directed care and forms the basis for the motivation behind my development of the shoulder and elbow service at UCLH.
