Mr Ellis was very informative and explained everything what we wanted know and even explained some things O had not even thought off. The only thing I cannot get with his back up in the office! I was sent correspondence which I could not access which I told them about them they sent me fresh email which I can't access because it is password protection. Basically I am not a computer oriented person!

Thank you very much for this feedback. I am very pleased that you felt I was very informative and explained well. I do share your sentiments about the email encryption which is necessary because of GDPR compliance to protect your data however I am aware that this is not an unusual difficulty. We would love to alter the process but sadly cannot make it more straightforward and remain compliant with the data protection laws. As you will understand I have a legal obligation to prevent sensitive personal data from being divulged in error. I would be grateful if you could contact Victoria my practice manager on 01622 620920 as she may be able to arrange a disclaimer for you or arrange to send the information by post. With kind regards Simon Ellis.

Having had a medial meniscus tear for about a year I was pleased to be referred to Mr Ellis. He was very helpful in explaining the problem with my knee and my options for treatment. I had first opted to have a steroid injection in my knee which helped for a time but I found only masked the problem. I was nervous of the idea of having surgery but after much research I decided that it was my best option. Mr Ellis was very reassuring and thorough in explaining the process of knee arthroscopy. I had the surgery in June and have been under going physical therapy at the hospital as well as at home. I had mixed feelings in the first few weeks but now I am much more positive of the outcome. The tear I had was catching in the joint and I now no longer have that problem. I have not had any pain while doing the exercises and the soreness in the knee is getting less and less. I am looking forward to doing a lot more in the way of physical activity as the strength in my knee continues to build. I would certainly recommend Mr Ellis to anyone.

Thank you very much for this review. Surgery should always be the final choice made only when conservative treatment has not been effective which was the case for you. I am delighted to hear that surgery has been effective in resolving your symptoms at the end of the day. With kind regards Simon Ellis

For 20 years Mr Ellis has taken excellent care of the people who matter most to me. His advice and guidance has always embraced all of us - patient, next of kin and wider family. His surgical skills have made a huge difference in the quality of the lives we are able to lead. I continue to recommend him and have recently become a patient myself.

Mr Ellis is very sympathetic & listened to me about my concerns. He was very understanding & explained things about my condition in a very easy way to understand. I would & indeed have recommended friends & family to visit him with any knee problems they may have.
