Mr Ellis is such a caring man and he listens carefully to all your worries and answers them clearly and with feeling. I totally trusted him and would do so again. I am totally happy with my knee replacement and just have to carry on with exercises to get the swelling down.

I would like to say a big Thank You to Mr Ellis for his care, politeness and reassurance
when he performed an operation to replace my knee joint. He put me at ease as I
was very apprehensive in undergoing this operation and the hospital staff were
so very kind. I would also like to say a big Thank You also to the theatre staff, in
particular the Anaesthetist for also putting me at ease and staying with me throughout
the operation. I am now walking without any walking sticks and just resumed driving
and although Mr Ellis has informed me that it will probably take up to a year to feel
the benefit, I am pleased I had the operation and can add that after only four hours
after arriving back from the theatre the nurses had me up and walking a few steps
which although painful at the time, think this helped me to get mobil quicker.
I would highly recommend Mr Ellis, the Consultant, to anyone requiring surgery for a
new knee. My sincere thanks once again.

3rd member of the family to benefit from Mr Ellis' knowledge and skills. Mr Ellis has a very easy to understand way of explaining the complex and provides great reassurance ahead of planned surgery. I would strongly recommend using Mr Ellis for Knee consultations

Simon Ellis performed a knee replacement for me in February 2015. 18 months ago there appeared to be a problem with the knee. I was referred back to Simon in May this year and it was not immediately obvious what the problem was. After 4 months and 4 appointments with Simon, the issue appears to have been resolved. Simon said in May he would solve the issue and he has done. He examined the symptoms in great detail and was very dogged in solving the problem. I am very grateful to Simon, the NHS and the Spire Alexandre Hospital and employees for all the work and resources provided for my benefit.
