I had my total knee replacement operation at Kim’s hospital in November and was home after three days everything went well and Dr Ellis was very good from start to finish he discharged me six weeks later and as it was my second replacement I was apprehensive and I must say Dr Ellis put me at ease and it was a much better experience than my first one I am extremely grateful to him for being so kind and professional Thank you Mr Robert Hurton

Mr Ellis is a caring surgeon, that explains and answers any questions you have during your time under his care. I had a Bucket handle tear on my medial meniscus, which I suffered during a football game at quite a high level . He and his team done amazing job and assured me every time I spoke to him that I will get back to playing. He was also very patient when things out of both our control occurred, which meant I couldn't do what we had agreed in previous meetings. I cant thank him enough as I am now back playing, something I thought might not be possible after suffering the injury.

I want to thank mr Ellis for all he has done and what an amazing job he and his team have done for me. I had an ACL reconstruction carried out and from the very first meeting he had assured me everything would be fine, his confidence, ability to explain things and understanding was great and would reccomend anyone to him.

I would like to thank Mr Ellis on the treatment I have received at the Spire Alexandra Hospital. I had a total knee replacement performed by Mr Ellis and his team on the 11th December 2019. As I also suffer from Parkinson, I was very anxious with regards to the operation, but I had no need to have worried. I could not have felt more at ease on admission, knowing I was in safe hands. From the moment I was admitted until I left. I was treated with total respect. I would also like to add a thank you to the nurse’s that saw me for my pre-assessment and to the helpful nurse and physiotherapist at the Joint School. It is now 3 weeks since the operation and I am so grateful to having had this done as I now have so much relief from the pain I experienced in the knee joint, before the operation. I can even walk a short distance without the aid of a stick, prior to the operation I was restricted to being in a wheelchair as I could not walk any distance. Again, many thanks to Mr Ellis and his team. Mrs Linda A Moore.

I had a knee arthroscopy performed by Dr Ellis on the 18.12.19. This is the second knee operation i have had performed by Dr Ellis in the past 5 years. As with the 1st operation the service of his team and Dr Ellis himself was 2nd to none. I was walking without aid within 12 hours and 6 days later i am walking virtually without any limp at all. I am a keen cyclist and squash player so hopefully Dr Ellis has prolonged both activities for me now by performing the same operation on my right leg. I would recommend him and his team to anyone. KIMS is a fantastic facility and i was very well looked after during my short stay. I hope you a;ll have a great Xmas and New Year.... Thank you
