I was hoping to defer what was going to be an inevitable knee replacement until a number of years in the future. However, Mr Ellis reassured me that my decision to now have the operation, based on his very detailed analysis of symptoms and available options was a great help. At all times Mr Ellis was fully understanding of my concerns, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who has similar issues.

My 79 year old aunt went to see Mr Ellis regarding a knee replacement and was operated on by him last Thursday. She was very nervous about the procedure and Mr Ellis has been very kind and understanding. On Saturday she had to go back to the operating theatre to have the knee drained, again he was very kind and understanding. After both procedures, Mr Ellis contacted us directly to let us know what was going on. He is a very kind and considerate doctor and myself and my family have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mr Ellis was all that you want a doctor to be. In a very polite and professional manner he was able to clearly diagnose the injury to my leg, and then proceeded to outline the options available and what this treatment would entail.

My procedure was carried out at The Somerfield, Maidstone. Mr. Ellis was reassuring from the first moment I met him. His friendly but professional demeanour made me feel relaxed from the very start. He took the time to explain in great detail my condition and the pros and cons to the surgery which is what I needed to make a decision. Mr Ellis' pre and post operative care was excellent.

Simon Ellis instilled confidence in me right from the start. His bedside manner is excellent & he takes time to listen & answers questions in layman terms so you can understand them. He explained what was going to happen with my knee replacement & after the op came round to see me to let me know how it all went & again had time to answer any questions or concerns I had. He’s a very positive chap. I would definitely recommend him if you’re thinking of having any knee surgery. Carmel Blackeby
