Having had previous "cleaning up" operations on my right knee over a number of years it became evident last year that I could no longer function properly and lead an active life without having a total knee replacement.
Simon Ellis reassured me that the benefits of the procedure would far out way any apprehension that I might have about undergoing such an operation.
Throughout the time from my initial consultation to being 3 months post op, Simon Ellis was extremely professional, courteous and at all times reassuring that my rehab would continue to enhance my overall mobility.

I met Simon just 10 days after being referred by my G P I was apprehensive as 2 previous operations had been unsuccessful. In just 45 minuets i had my consultation X rays , informed about my options agreed the best option for me and had my operation booked. Simon explained everything to me in both a professional and caring way. I am looking forward to the future with renewed optimism

Mr Ellis is a very patient and understanding Doctor. I had a total knee replacement done and he explained everything to me before in laymens terms so that i could understand. The care that he gave and the fact that he listened puts you so much at ease. I was so pleased that he was my Doctor and I wish that he was my consultant for my other surgeries.

I was recently referred to Mr Simon Ellis following an assessment for a painful knee which has now limited my mobility to a very great extent. As in all such cases I attended my appointment with some trepidation and concern. I am pleased to say that the manner adopted by Mr Ellis was professional and personal and quickly put me at ease. During the appointment the treatment options were fully explained following which it was agreed that the answer to my problem was a total knee replacement. I now await the completion of this operation and have full faith in having Mr Ellis completing this trearment.

I recently had an initial consultation with Mr. Ellis. He explained the various options open to me and it was agreed that a full knee replacement was then best option. A date for the procedure was arranged there and then and the whole thing was clearly explained. I am looking forward to regaining substantial mobility as a result of the proposed surgery. Mr. Ellis was very understanding and reassuring and his explanation of the procedure was clear and reassuring.
