Having been pushed from pillar to post by my own GP surgery, I decided to seek private consultation for my knee issue and was referred privately by my physiotherapist to KIMs. My appointment was with Mr Ellis. Mr Ellis came out and greeted me, led me into his consulting room and then asked me to tell him about the issues I had with my knee. Mr Ellis listened to me, at no time making me feel that I shouldn't be there, at no time telling me that I was "at that stage in life", or "it's down to your age", at no time did he make me feel written off as happened so many times in the passed. I left my appointment feeling happier that, at last, someone was going to help me. The second time I saw Mr Ellis was through NHS referral, and I wondered if now I was an NHS patient my appointment would be different. It wasn't, I was treated exactly the same. If I need surgery in the future I know that I will be in a safe pair of hands and that the surgery will only be done if needed. I feel I can trust Mr Ellis implicitly, without hesitation and I am very pleased to have met him. I recommend Mr Ellis, I am thankful that I met him and can now count myself as one of his patients.
