Just home from a half knee replacement performed by Mr Simon Ellis at the Spire Alexander Hospital. Right from my very first consultation he has been exemplary in explaining and guiding me towards the best operation for me due to my age at 50. He listened intently and gave me his knowledge and years of experience to help make my own decision, which I was very appreciative of. Every part of my process with him, his team and the Alexander has been very efficient and my treatment has been second to none. My GP, Dr Sewell has guided me too and I was lucky enough to have my care via the NHS referral with Mr Ellis fully supporting this. I was anxious about my surgery but with the care and attention I received really should not have been. I am doing as I am told with my exercises so that I can meet my end of the bargain and get the best recovery before I go back to see Mr Ellis in 6 weeks. Thank you for everything, to be out of pain eventually will be such a blessing.
