This was to be my first invasive surgery,but from the first appointment with Mr Ellis,I felt at ease and confident that all would be well, and this was reinforced on further appointments,his explanations of his findings and his methods of treatment were easy for a layman to understand, and being 82, this was very important for me. The operation went as Mr Ellis described, and the after care was extremely good, with both Mr Ellis and the anaesthetist coming in to check that all was well . On discharge,after one face to face meeting with Mr Ellis, covid 19 restrictions came into force and-further appointments were by phone, date and times given by a member of his team were kept to on time by Mr Ellis, so no hanging about waiting for a phone call. Mr Ellis has a very good team around him and I do not think that it needs any fine tuning
