I saw Mr Ellis after sustaining knee ligament injuries whilst skiing. He was very thorough in explaining the results of the MRI, sharing research and carefully explaining my options so that I fully understood what was the right treatment option for me. He took plenty of time over the consultation to make sure I had all the information I needed to make a decision the next day, to proceed with surgery. He also took the time to write up all the notes of our discussion that night. I found his manner warm and open and I was extremely confident in his care. He phoned me several times before the operation to confirm details and reassure me that the operation would not be postponed despite the heavy snow! The surgery went well and I would not hesitate to recommend Simon Ellis to anyone requiring his skill set.

Skiing injuries are common at this time of the year but come in many different forms hence the need to tailor the treatment to each individual patient. It is so important to ensure that each patient understands the exact injury and the treatment options which can be complex and needs time and information.
