I was involved in a serious car accident in Jan 2001 when my right knee was impaled on my vehicles ignition key on impact. Ive had 2 operations on it and physio constantly since. I 2aa finally sent to Mr Simon Ellis for review and he discussed several alternatives including total knee replacement. This, we agreed would be the right course of action for me, he eplained thoroughly and compassionately the proceedure and asked if i had any questions before settling for 28th May 2019. I cannot praise high enough the team and in particular, Mr Ellis throughout during my stay at KIMS Hospital. After a short recovery perios i now hope to have many years of pain free use of the said knee.
