I originally had an appointment with Mr Ellis 18 months ago, and found him very professional and gentlemanly. After an X-Ray and inspection of my right knee he suggested I continued with the Naproxin and Iburofen gel but also sought an Osteopath. I heeded his advice and until a few months ago all was well but now the pain is not good. I had a further appointment last Monday and again an X-Ray was taken and inspection of the movement in my knee, and Mr Ellis ran through the options open to me. We agreed that a full knee replacement was necessary as the joints were touching, and an appointment was made for the operation.

Response from Mr Simon Ellis

Thank you very much for taking the time to post this review and sharing your experience with others. Deciding the time to carry out surgical treatment for knee arthritis is a difficult one. Initially conservative treatment with increasing painkillers and regular exercise is helpful but sadly over time the symptoms increase hence your need for surgery now. The most important decision for me is tailoring the right treatment for each patient. With kind regards Simon Ellis
