I have been under the care of Mr Simon Ellis for about four years now. I have had arthroscopies on my right knee during these years. We did know that I would eventually have to have a right knee replacement. He was initially recommended to me by my osteopath Liz Brennan-Jesson who herself had been treated by Mr Ellis. Last week I had an attune replacement of my right knee. At our appointment in January of this year Mr Ellis explained in clear and simple terms what it would entail. He also sent me an email with all the information I needed so that I could digest this information at home and make my decision. He has always been aware of my worries concerning this operation and has been at great pains to explain the procedure and all it entails. He really does listen and I found that extremely reassuring. Whilst I was in the process of making my decisions as to what kind of knee replacement to have and where I phoned Mr Ellis's secretary. Mr Ellis himself then phoned me back and took all the time I needed to answer my queries. It is very early days in my recovery (less than a week) but I feel confident that I shall make a good recovery because I have such confidence in Mr Ellis.
