From the first consultation to the final one, Mr Kalkur always took time to discuss my case, showing empathy and compassion. Every clinic appointment was friendly, relaxed, thorough and I never felt rushed. He encouraged me to research all options from those he suggested before making a decision regarding my treatment plan. Mr Kalkur is friendly, approachable and always gives a first class service. He was happy to answer any questions by email or telephone throughout the 9 months I was in his care. Following my operation Mr Kalkur made time to visit me to confirm the outcome and answer questions I had regarding my recovery. The follow up clinic appointment was informative and supportive. He is a truly amazing Consultant, which is what you would hope for when you visit the Hospital. He is professional, efficient and caring. From beginning to end I have found Dr Kalkur fantastic. He is very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Always willing to answer mine and my husbands questions as well as ensuring we both totally understood everything that was happening and our options. He has empathy and is very compassionate. Ratings for Dr. Sanjaya Kalkur  5 Staff  5 Punctuality  5 Helpfulness  5 Knowledge  From the time of our initial meeting, Mr Kalkur has displayed total professionalism but at the same time is completely approachable, friendly and made me feel immediately at ease and valued as a patient. The consultancy appointments are unhurried and relaxed and, uniquely, in my experience, he willingly gives freely of his personal time to be available for contact by e-mail or phone, thereby responding to any concerns or fears promptly. I found him to be very patient and sympathetic and was concise and clear when discussing my condition and treatment. His diagnosis was swift and accurate but he also encouraged me to be fully involved in the overall decision from the treatment options provided. Throughout the process, his dedication to my welfare was absolute and he would "go the extra mile" to ensure my best possible interests. Importantly, in the context of examination procedures, he is extremely caring and sensitive to the pain avoidance and comfort of the patient, which was very reassuring. Following my hysteroscopy, my subsequent treatment has been a complete success and I am pleased to report my full recovery, which I have no doubt was due to his specialist expertise, (particularly as, in my case, some unrelated health and past surgery issues may have made my treatment more challenging) I find Mr Kalkur to be exceptional in all respects, and he possesses attributes and qualities which we all hope to find in our Consultants but which are sometimes lacking. I feel very fortunate to have been in the care of this gentleman and would not hesitate to recommend him. SW

In my experience Mr Kalkur is a brilliant consultant. He was very generous with his time, he was friendly, empathetic, he really listened to me and explored all of my problems in a way no other doctor or gynaecologist has. I felt very much at ease with him and he ensured that I was happy with every procedure he carried out. He also made himself available via email which I found extremely comforting as this meant he would answer any queries I had in between appointments directly and very quickly. I believe this to be far beyond his call of duty. Mr.Kalkur diagnosed my problem (endometriosis) and treated it immediately. This was after three years of other doctors dismissing my symptoms. Mr.Kalkur also combined three procedures in one (including a laparoscopy) which was really efficient and much less stressful and time consuming for me. My surgical scars are the neatest and smallest I have ever seen - which I am sure is thanks to his care and attention. I therefore highly recommend Mr.Kalkur.

Outstanding, professional and expert in his field with a caring and trustworthy demeanour. Mr Kalkur not only listened with compassion but also gave confidence and reassurance and most importantly and quick and long term solution taking every necessary aspect into careful consideration. I chose to see Mr Kalkur privately and I still consider it to be worth every single penny! I would not hesitate to return for consultation if the need arose.
