I have met Mr Kalkur both in 2019 and 2021 for gynae treatment and have been very impressed by his clear and concise explanations and thoroughness. He is approachable and professional and is able to put you at ease. He provides all information and options for treatment so that you are able to make the choices necessary for your treatment. In addition he responds quickly and efficiently to any follow up requests and is available to discuss by phone or face to face.

I have had treatment by Mr Kalkur a couple of times now for different reasons. He listens, he provides options, explains everything in great detail to make you aware of which options are available and on top of those he also advises of additional treatment/medication that he can provide post surgery/recovery. Even on my follow up appointments he went through additional options that I may find necessary in the future, he doesn’t just simply discharge you after surgery/recovery. He also advises that he can be contacted when needed, at any time. When I needed more treatment I knew straight away that Mr Kalkur was the consultant I wanted to look after me and my needs. I trust him, I know I get the very best of care and attention. I have recommended Mr Kalkur to others, because of my great experiences with him.

I saw mr Kalkur at the Spire Southend. He made me feel completely safe and comfortable. He listened to me and helped where no other doctor would. I had a full hysterectomy with him and his team. We spoke regularly regarding the operation and what was needed before and after. Probably more due to the operation being cancelled a couple of times due to covid. But I was kept informed and checked on to make so I was ok. The after care was fantastic and things explained to me when I thought I was having problems after the operation. I have recovered very well with no long term problems. Thank you Mr Kalkur you changed my life.

I referred to Mr. Sanjaya Kalkur twice over a period of 5 years. I found his consultations on both occasions to be very thorough, supportive and professional. After initial consultations (and related scans, etc); Mr. Kalkur fully explained the options based on the results of examination/tests. I found this immensely helpful and informative. As my symptoms persisted over the following period; I went back to Mr. Kalkur for further advice. Again, he was enormously understanding, helpful and informative; the decision to have surgery is a major consideration and once I elected to go down that route I trusted him completely. I went on to have major surgery (during COVID-19 restriction period). The laparoscopic operation went very well and recovery has been going fine (I wrote this review circa. 2 months after the operation). Mr Kalkur has been in touch with me during this time to check progress and I have felt that I could refer back to him if I needed to. My issues were related to Fibroids (and related pain), Ovarian cyst, polyp and included HRT consultation. I would highly recommend Mr Kalkur.
