Excellent professional & relaxed style, listened to what I had to say and then methodically worked through my problems. I ended up having a tonsillectomy and uvuloplasty operation (36 year old), all aspects of the operation & recovery were well covered and swift response to any subsequent questions. The operation went well and recovery was quicker than expected. I echo the previous reviews, highly recommended.

Our 3 year old son had over a year of breathing difficulties with asthma like symptoms, which on several occasions resulted in hospital stays, having to receive steroids and nebulizers. We were given a avamys steroid nasal spray which improved symptoms but when he had a cold it still required 6 -10 puffs of an inhaler every 4 hours. Then we had a consultation with Dr Khemani. Dr Khemani within minutes knew the cause and upon examination diagnosed our son of having enlarged adenoids and tonsils. We were subsequently booked in for a Intatracapsular Coblation Tonsillectomy (Tonsillotomy) and Coblation Adenoidectomy at a date of our choosing. He was first in to have the procedure and back within 90 minutes. Within 120 minutes he was eating crisps and laughing. After his surgery's both the anesthesiologist and Dr Khemani personally came to check on our Son, and came back at the end of the day to check on his progress. Within 3 days our son was eating as normal and back to himself. The difference now is marked. He used to snore, you now have to put your ear to his mouth to hear him breathing. He used to stop breathing at night (sleep apnea) he now no longer does that. He now (5 months later) hasn't required his inhaler at all, even when he's had a cold or has been unwell. He also used to look very pale, with almost purple like rings under his eyes. He is now full of colour with at times rosy cheeks. He also has much more energy now. So if you're reading this review worrying about your child with similar symptoms. And their needing to have a adenotonsillectomy (and we were) then don't hesitate because the difference it has made to our son is quite frankly remarkable. The treatment we received from Dr Khemani and his team was first class and the end result even better.

Dear Doctor Khemani, All I can say is thanks so very much. We the hangers-on also feel the pain in a completely different way. Our life is also put on hold while your wife or partner is going through this trial. Because of you i have my wife back. Kind regards Kim Buckingham

At last here was someone who was welcoming, kind, reassuring and smiley. I had been with my ear pain problem for over 6 months and was feeling that no one believed or understood the pain i was having. Treatments from medicines from my own Doctor were not working. Now at last, here was Doctor Khemani. Someone who understands and has empathy. With the first appointment i was examined then set up for a scan and started on a course of treatment which cured my problem. Within two weeks i was seen again with my results. The treatment had worked. I have been reassured that if i need to contact Doctor Khemani in the future he will be there for me. My mind has been put at rest and i am now pain free, happy and back to normal. I was pleased to note that a comprehensive feed back report was sent to my GP and a copy to myself. Thank you very much Doctor Khemani Kind Regards, Janet Buckingham

Mr Khemani did a fantastic job with our 6 year old son taking on his case from another Consultant. He put my son at ease and made the whole process more of an adventure than anything to worry about and the follow up care was outstanding. Thank you Mr Khemani.
