It is not often one can give unbridled praise . Mr Heaton has been looking after my wife who has problems with her knees now for a number of years. His professionalism , genuine care and interest in trying to provide the best possible care is a credit to him. He is patient ,listens to her concerns and shows real empathy with her health issues. My wife and I have complete faith and trust in his medical skills trusting his advice completely. He has won our complete confidence which has helped my wife cope mentally during difficult periods . We wish to take this opportunity to thank him for his outstanding care and professionalism. When he stopped practicing at Boston West hospital we tracked him down and now see him at the Pilgrim Hospital. Following Xrays of both knees, Mr Heaton realised the full extent of my disability and was able to arrange a full knee replacement 3 months later. The operation went well and 6 weeks later, after examining the knee, he was satisfied with the progress of the healing The knee joint was so badly worn that the leg was badly misaligned and during the operation he was able to correct the misalignment. The left knee is in a similar condition,so I look forward to Mr Heaton working his magic on that knee in due course. Mr Heaton shows himself to be a competent caring professional and the NHS is lucky to have his expertise for patient care

I would like to thank Doctor Heaton, for helping me to regain my life after he agreed to a right hip replacement. Dr Heaton fully understood at 48 years old, I was too young to live my life on a very large dosage of painkillers and not able to work or socialize, that he agreed to the hip replacement and went on to perform the surgery, which has given me my life back. I cannot thank this Doctor enough, highly recommended.

Before Mr Heaton performed the operation that gave me a total hip replacement, I struggled to take 5 steps without stopping, I couldn't pick up or carry my grandchildren, standing/sitting for 15 minutes was impossible......, you get the picture. It is 3 months since my operation, my life has changed ! I can do all the things I used to do, so wanted to do, I walk easily, I swim, I'm even thinking about going back to the gym. I'm so very pleased that I decided to go ahead and have the operation and very happy with the outcome. I can't thank Mr Heaton and his team enough. After years of discomfort and disability - I have my life back.
