Mr Lusty carried out a hip replacement on me in Spring and within 4 months I was back to 100% fitness feeling as if I had never had a problem.
I can only say that the man is a magician in his field as well as caring and considerate in his approach and I have no hesitation in recommending him - thank you Mr Lusty

I have just had a knee replacement by the fantastic Mr lusty. He told me it would be very painful and he wasn't lying as it was. I am now in week 7 post op and am really starting to feel the benefit. Good tip for physio is an exercise bike it helped me so much. Mr. Lusty is kind considerate a brilliant surgeon and I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you so much Mr. Lusty for giving me my leg back xx

Thank you very much for leaving your review. I am sorry you had pain after your knee surgery. We try to make it as pain free as possible but knee replacement is often painful. It is vital to work hard to get a good range of movement after surgery especially getting your leg completely straight. The pain should get better. I found Dr Lusty to be excellent, conscientious and empathetic, with a pleasant and
enthusiastic disposition. He is very knowledgeable taking time to explain my proceedure and possible alternatives. Happy to answer any querries and fears even though he must have been asked them hundreds of times.
I will definitely recomend Dr Lusty to anyone needing orthopaedic surgeon.

Mr Lusty is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon, who is both professional and caring. He explained everything in great detail before and after my hip replacement. I felt completely confident in his abilities and was not disappointed. As six weeks post op I am back being able to do everything I want to.
On my first consultation with him he said that he aims to perform a " forgettable hip replacement" meaning when everything is healed it would be difficult to remember which one it was. I can honestly say even after such a short time I feel he has achieved just that!!
I would certainly recommend him without hesitation to family, friends and anyone needing a hip replacement.

I have been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since 2007. I completed international fellowships specialising in joint replacement and sports medicine surgery. I am an expert in hip and knee surgery.
I specialise in hip and knee surgery. I perform minimally invasive joint replacement surgery, revision (redo) joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. I also practice soft tissue knee surgery such as arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), and arthroscopic anterior cruciate reconstruction surgery, and meniscal (cartilage) repair and resection.
I have been running a busy consultant practice for over ten years. I have performed more than 2000 primary joint replacements (hips and knees) and more than 200 revision joint replacements (redo hips and knees) on the national joint registry. My outcomes outperform the expected in terms of revision rates on the national joint register and patient function from Amplitude outcome data (from data of over 1000 patients at Spire Wellesley) I perform many knee arthroscopic procedures including anterior cruciate reconstructions.
