From my first meeting with.Mr.Lusty I felt he was entirely honest and straight forward.Diagnisis was quick clear and accurate.
Throughout my stay in the Wellesley all those involved with my treatment and care were totally professional.Their calm measured responces were exactly what is needed by someone undergoing surgery. My after care has been exactly the same. From the people who kept the rooms clean right through to Mr.Lusty I experienced only kindness.I genuinely can think of nothing that any of them could do to improve the experience. I would recommend them to anyone considering treatment under Mr.Lusty.

I was very pleased as pain following the hip replacement went immediately. I was walking unaided at day 3 and 99% back to normal at 7 weeks

A big thank you for the excellent treatment I received from Mr Lusty when I had my knee replacement in September. He is kind, efficient & listened to my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of my condition & recovery.
I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an orthopaedic consultant.

Mr Lusty was a very empathetic consultant.
He listened to me, gave his opinion. He explained in great detail how the operation was to proceed.
He told me of the exercises to achieve for the best possible results.
At my last consultation taught me how to walk properly so that my hip would continue to work to it’s maximum capacity.
I would highly recommend this very conscientious doctor who has his patients best interests at the forefront of his consultation and work.

I had a hip replacement and the end of September. Mr Lusty's reviews universally reflect the professional and interpersonal skills he demonstrate and my experience accords with all of these. He brings clarity and simplicity to explaining complicated, procedures, encourages questions and gives time to listening. I have been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since 2007. I completed international fellowships specialising in joint replacement and sports medicine surgery. I am an expert in hip and knee surgery.
I specialise in hip and knee surgery. I perform minimally invasive joint replacement surgery, revision (redo) joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. I also practice soft tissue knee surgery such as arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), and arthroscopic anterior cruciate reconstruction surgery, and meniscal (cartilage) repair and resection.
I have been running a busy consultant practice for over ten years. I have performed more than 2000 primary joint replacements (hips and knees) and more than 200 revision joint replacements (redo hips and knees) on the national joint registry. My outcomes outperform the expected in terms of revision rates on the national joint register and patient function from Amplitude outcome data (from data of over 1000 patients at Spire Wellesley) I perform many knee arthroscopic procedures including anterior cruciate reconstructions.
