Good first meeting with Mr Ahmed who put me at my ease and then explained all options and recommendations. I was happy to go ahead with knee op as I felt confident in Mr Ahmed's ability. Attended knee school which was very good and informative and able to ease any worries I had. Pre op/Post op care - both excellent with each stage explained . At home I was confident that I could cope as I felt I had the necessary support from the hospital staff.

I am an Executive Assistant to the Chief People's Officer at the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. I moved to Muswell Hill in September 2018. I met with Mr Ahmad in 2019 regarding the possibility of having a knee replacement and what this entailed. Mr Ahmad is by far one of the most amazing orthopaedic consultants I have met. He spoke in a language that I could understand ,explaining in detail what the operation entailed before and after, he has great interpersonal skills and a necessary component which should be mandatory for all clinicians - a sense of humour. He was there before I had my op to reassure me and there when I returned to the ward to let me know it went well. The operation was a huge success and he did a great job. I would also like to commend the several Members of thIs team The Whittington hospital should be proud that they have representing their trust an outstanding Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Mr Ahmad and an exceptional Orthpaedic team.

I was examined by Mr Ahmad on 5th of March 2020, as part of the post operation care following the surgery for a broken thigh bone carried out by Mr Ahmad on 19th of January 2020 in Whittington Hospital. I have nothing but praise and gratitude to Mr Ahmad and his team. From the first day that I was admitted to Whittington and was seen by Mr Ahmad, to all the subsequent bed-side and clinic visits, I felt in professional and caring hands. I am now in the process of recovery at home thanks to Mr Ahmad, his team and Whittington staff. My family and I are grateful to them all and wish them the very best, particularly for Mr Ahmad.
