This doctor was my named Consultant in charge of my medical condition at the Trauma and Orthopedic Department at the Whittington Hospital in North London in May 2019. I received nothing but great care and respect from him and his team. He explained some of the factors that could have contributed to my medical condition and gave me treatment options for me to consider. When I opted for an operation, Mr Ahmad and his team explained in detail, the whole procedure and what to expect. I was given time to reflect and discuss with my family members and when I accepted to go for surgery, I was thoroughly examined, and I was able to see the scan/xray and understand exactly what was going on after a detailed explanation from the doctor. I was given the opportunity to ask pertinent questions about the procedure and after the operation, the after care I received was excellent; the doctor was present at every review to enquire about my progress. He was approachable, pleasant and took time to explain and answer all my questions without hesitation. He displayed professional bedside manner.

It was very good and the results have been amazing apart from the loss of a surgical scratch pad during the operation which meant I had to be taken back to surgery and moved around and xrayed multiple times

Mr Mudussar Ahmad replaced my right hip last year with excellent results. He is easy to talk to...answers every question...and knows how to put a person at ease about an upcoming surgery. From start to finish EVERYTHING about my right hip replacement 2/12/19 was the best thing! I am very lucky to have him as my surgeon! Thank you.

Both Dr Ahmed and the alternative doctors who I met right from the beginning were very friendly and clear about both the procedure to be undertaken and the progress being made. The only criticism I would make is that there was usually a very long wait - on one occasion over 2.5 hours. The doctors apologised for the delays and I know that they are all very busy and it is a reflection of constant cuts to NHS financing. Hopefully, now that B.Johnson has had a damascene moment funds might flow back to the NHS and ease these delays.
