This consultation was excellent. I was concerned about the future and was listened to with empathy and care. The appointment was followed up immediately with physiotherapy with Eleanor, who was also excellent. When I left I felt so much happier! When I initially broke my wrist I was not offered physio and, with hindsight, I would really have benefited at the time as I was merely told to flex my wrist forwards and backwards. I appreciate that we were in the middle of lockdown at the time (10 April) but even a handout with suggested exercises would have been helpful. I feel much more informed this time and, as a consequence, much more confident.

He gives clear explanations of the diagnosis using the xrays, with advice on managing the condition, invites questions and appears not to be rushed however busy the clinic is. I hardly waited at all this visit, though at times there can be long waits. Then it would be helpful for support staff to indicate how long it is likely to be so that you could leave to get a drink or whatever without fear of missing the call. Generally however all staff have a friendly and professional manner.
