I was very pleased to discussed my problem with the doctor. I got answers to all my questions. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful which helps a lot when as a patient I have worried about the condition and the future prospectives. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

Dr Ahmad came to meet me prior my surgery and explained procedure, sounded very confident and caring which put me at ease. I felt reassured and in good hands. After the surgery I unfortunately didn't meet him, but other healthcare professionals looked after me well. Dr Ahmad then called when I enquired with his secretary so this was very helpful, he explained how the surgery went and answered all my questions. On a follow up visit he scared me a bit with a comment I should be able to flex the knee more than I could, but I believe this was to motivate me to do better with my physiotherapy. Physiotherapist on the other hand was reassuring me that extending the knee is more important in the first stages of rehab than flexing, so gradually everything return to it's normal levels of functioning. 2 weeks after surgery I completed my first walk (still in braces) but there was no pain. I found Dr Ahmad ability to normalise and validate my experience after the surgery very helpful. He is genuinely interested in recovery of his patients.

I had an extremely bad fracture on my upper right arm. I was worried it would never completely heal but after one year I am back to lifting weights and the arm is as good as ever. Dr Ahmad also explained the process well in layman's terms so I could understand at every level what was happening. I cannot thank him enough.

On the 31st of May 2020 I had a fall and suffered a trimalleolar ankle fracture. I had ORIF surgery to fit 3 plates and 9 pins on my ankle at Watford General hospital, nearest hospital to where I had the accident. Two weeks later, after being seeing by the surgeon at Watford hospital, I developed an infection on one of the incisions. I went to the Whittington, my local hospital A&E, and was seeing by Doctor’s Ahmad team. My caseload was swiftly transferred to the Whittington, I was very glad to be treated at my local hospital. I needed further surgery, performed with precision by Doctor Ahmad, to clear up the infection, so the same incision was open again and infected fluid drained. In September I had to go back to hospital again to remove all plates and pins from my ankle. Because of the infection they needed to come out. Throughout my 3 surgeries and treatment Doctor Ahmad was always polite and explained very well what needed to be done.I am now , February 2021, fully recovered and walking everywhere with no problems. Thank you Doctor Ahmad and his team and all nurses at the hospital for the excellent treatment I have received.
