I saw Mr Cope for my second TKR 5 days ago, having had my first one done by him in 2017. Nothing had changed; he gave me a full reminder/explanation of the procedure, listened and was totally honest in answering questions. He even had the foresight to assure me that every knee is different and, should things feel differently this time, it didn’t mean there was a problem.......that was a really useful piece of advice, since I now realise how much of the initial recovery I had forgotten! Mr Cope is a marvellous and very skilled surgeon who I would recommend over and over again.....I even think my scars are going to match and that, to me, is important. Thank you so much, Mr Cope.

I had my knee replaced and at first as expected it was quite painful and I struggled to walk. But Mr Cope really reassured me that it would get better. Week by week I had ups and downs but felt fully supported and encouraged the whole way. All of a sudden the pain in my knee disappeared and I can honestly say it was 100% worth the weeks of healing and pain. I can’t thank Mr Cope enough for his help.

I feel sometimes a little rushed as Mr Cope speaks quite fast and as though I would know exactly what he is talking about. I have no complaints as to the service he gives and he is friendly. Im not very good in appointment situations so im not the best to chat to.
